🐾 Meet Kenji — A Handsome Boy Who Is Ready for His Forever Home! 💛
Kenji is an exceptionally handsome, neutered 4-year-old male Shiba who first came to SIRF acting a little too big for his 40-pound britches. 😏 He needed a little attitude adjustment, some structure, and professional training—and we knew exactly who could help him.
Kenji has spent much of his time with us at an Orlando board-and-train facility, learning from our favorite Shiba trainer, Nicole. He also enjoys occasional overnights with his Auntie Ashley.
Between them, he has had an incredible support system—and this boy has been an absolute star student! ⭐
Kenji has learned some amazing obedience and has made tremendous progress. Now, we think he is ready for the next chapter: his forever home.
While Kenji has been an impeccable pupil, his perfect home will be one with an experienced Shiba owner (or other strong-willed breed) who understands the importance of structure, boundaries, and consistency.
🐕 Trainer Nicole’s Kenji Bullet Points:
• Medium energy
• Crate trained
• Housebroken
• Walks well on a leash
• AMAZING with boundaries and structure
• Knows recall
• Knows down stays
• No young children
• No other dogs — Kenji needs to be the only dog so he doesn’t have to compete with or guard his people/resources
• Has experience being around cats
• Ideally, his adopter will live in or near the Orlando area so Nicole can continue to assist if needed
Kenji has worked incredibly hard to become the well-mannered, obedient boy he is today. Now he needs someone who will continue giving him the structure, stability, and love he deserves.
If you can offer Kenji a safe, experienced, and loving home, you’ll be giving this amazing boy the fresh start he truly deserves. 💛
