Koguma-5 yr old Male Shiba Inu

🐾 FLOOF ALERT! Meet Koguma! 🐾

Koguma is a gorgeous 5-year-old wooly (long-haired) Shiba Inu looking for a special home where he can finally relax and enjoy the life he deserves.

Sadly, Koguma’s first owner treated him very poorly. He was physically abused and even had someone kneel on his chest to force him to behave. Despite that difficult start, Koguma has come a long way and is ready for a fresh beginning with someone who understands and respects him.

At approximately 40 pounds, Koguma is a handsome, fluffy boy who is already neutered, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. According to his current owner, he is up to date on his vaccines, and any additional vetting needed will be completed before adoption at no cost to his future family.

Koguma is looking for a home where he can be:
🏡 The only dog
🐱 In a home without cats
👶 In a home without young children

Like many Shibas, Koguma has a strong personality and prefers to be in charge. He does not do well with other animals and has a bit too much enthusiasm and energy for young children. What he needs is an experienced owner who will appreciate his intelligence, respect his boundaries, and give him the structure and consistency he thrives on.

Underneath all that fluffy Shiba attitude is a dog who deserves a chance to leave his difficult past behind and finally know what it feels like to be truly loved.
