in Adopted Shibas

Sheeba is between 6 months and a year old says the vet who took care of her when she was first taken in for her hurt hip. She was hit by a car. She has had surgery and is recovering nicely. She now has a hinge in her hip acting as the pivot point for her joint. She is putting weight on it when she stands but at this point not putting weight on it when she runs. Sheeba is a black and tan girl who weighs about 20lbs and has been spayed. She is good with kids, cats and dogs although large dogs intimidate her a little bit. If you are interested in Sheeba please contact the rescue and/or submit an application. She is currently located in the Orlando area.

Sheba is being adopted by her foster family!

What is the prognosis of the hip? Once she’s fully healed will she have normal use of it? Will she be able to rough-house with other dogs?
