UPDATE: Chai has been adopted!! Thanks Michael for giving this sweet girl a new home! is a 6 1/2 yr old red/white Shiba Inu that is looking for a new home where there are no dogs or a dog that she will get along with. She currently is with 4 other dogs of varying sizes and breeds and she has been there since she was a puppy. Recently Chai has decided enough is enough and doesn’t want to share her space and back yard with so many dogs. She is good with kids but has never been with cats. Chai is a unique colored Shiba with mainly red but with white areas also. She is house trained, leash trained and somewhat crate trained. Chai weighs about 24lbs and is up to date on all her vaccines. She is also on heart worm and flea prevention. Please consider adding Chai to your family as she will make a great companion for a lot of years!

Hello, is Chai good with cats by any chance. I have two cats that are 6 and 8 years old. I live on a corner lot with a huge fenced in back yard and a huge front and side yard to play in.
We are unsure about Chai and cats… Because of this we are looking for a home with no cats although we have other Shibas available for adoption that do well with cats
We already have one shiba and are looking to get another.
We do have cats though, do you think that would be an issue?

Todd, We are not adopting to anyone with cats since we are unsure about her dealings with cats although we have posted some new Shibas that are up for adoption.
