UPDATE: Rosie has been adopted.. Thanks Annette for giving our favorite girl a super home! Rosie is the sweetest most loving Shiba we have ever met! She along with 3 other Shibas were left in an outdoor pen at the local animal services right after Christmas. No note with ages, names or any information was left with them. SIRF did not hesitate to go and get them! The shelter informed us when we got there that they figured out that she was blind. Rosie may be blind but you almost would never be able to tell She is so smart that she learns her way around and remembers it. She can get to the water bowl and to her crate without a problem and plays with her foster family’s dog. It does take her awhile to get the layout of her home but she is very independent! She is house trained and feels very secure in her house(crate). Rosie is 16lbs, up to date on all her vaccinations and just recently had surgery to remove a growth which turned out to just be a sebaceous cyst which were all very happy about! She will be spayed before adoption as we had to wait until she recovered from her other surgery. Rosie has also had her teeth cleaned and she is heart worm negative! If you are the lucky one to choose her to join your family you will not be disappointed! Rosie is located in Clearwater, Florida. If you would do to apply to adopt Rosie please send us an email at apply@shibainurescueflorida.org. You will not be disappointed!

Has Rosie been adopted yet? I’d love to give her a home.
Rosie is adorable. Is she still up for adoption?
Rosie reminds me of my Shiba, “Suki” that passed away in January at the age of 16.
I miss her very much.
I would love to adopt Rosie.
