Adopted-Kobe-10 yr young Male Cream Shiba Inu

in Adopted Shibas

Kobe has been with SIRF a few months getting well after he was abandoned in the lobby of the Humane Society of Palm Beach. His hair was a patch job at best with bald and tufted spots due to his undiagnosed hypothryoidism. He also had a huge tumor on his back hip area. Since he has been with us at SIRF and foster Patty, Kobe has had surgery on the tumor which was found to be non cancerous, and he has been on thyroid medicines which has allowed him to feel better and allowed his hair to grow back thick and beautiful. Kobe is well on his way to recovery and ready for a home of his own. He likes to snuggle on the couch when he is invited. A home with no cats is probably best because he tends to pester them. He gets along with other dogs and likes to play like typical Shibas just in short spurts. A home with dogs at least his size is probably best. Koby is 32lb and up to date on his vaccines and he is on heartworm and flea prevention. Kobe hasn’t been around kids that we know of but his demeanor is such that he should be fine with dog savvy children. Kobe is house trained and walks well on a leash. Please check out his before and after pics and see how Kobe has changed during his time with SIRF. Kobe would love to have a home where he can hang out and be a cuddle bug teddy bear to his new humans! Will you be that human? Please email SIRF at apply@shibainurescueflorida.org for an application. Kobe is located in Port St Lucie, Florida!

Adorable boy. Would he like a Chow Chow brother?
