Please meet London, an absolutely adorable, petite 4-year-old Shiba Inu who needs a foster or foster-to-adopt home.
According to her current caregivers, London is a sweet, playful little Shiba who enjoys meeting everyone, but, typical of the breed, introductions must be SLOW and patient. She is crate-trained, house-trained, and leash-trained, making her an easy addition to the right home.
London has experienced a lot of change in her young life through no fault of her own, and she deserves the chance to finally feel safe and secure. We feel she would flourish best in a home where she can be the only pet and adored.
We are seeking a patient, loving home where London can be given the necessary time and space to decompress and adjust. She is currently up to date on her vaccines and heartworm prevention.
Regarding her additional veterinary needs, she has been evaluated by eye specialists who have confirmed that she is vision-impaired and most likely blind. We are working closely with her veterinarian to ensure her comfort and to determine if corrective treatment can restore any vision in one of her eyes.
Despite these challenges, she remains happy and sweet. Shibas are resilient and can thrive even with limited vision. We are currently in the process of scheduling her remaining veterinary care.
