Adopted Piper – 8-month old female Shiba Inu

in Adopted Shibas

UPDATE: Piper has been adopted. Piper is one of our newest rescues and is 8 months old and 30 lbs so she is a big girl! She is mostly house-trained and is still learning how to walk on a leash. Piper has the puppy mentality and is full of energy and plays hard. She gets along with other dogs but sometimes plays too rough! Piper is probably too rough energetic to be with younger children but would be fine with older children that are dog savvy. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Piper sleeps in her crate and stays in her crate when her owner isn’t at home. She is currently located in Cape Coral. Please email us @ apply@shibainurescueflorida.org if you are interested in meeting Piper!

The NYC Shiba Rescue covers that area. They have plenty of dogs that are in need of good homes so we normally do not adopt out of our area. If we had a special needs dog or an older dog that we couldn’t get adopted and had an adopter in another area we would adopt out of our area. Thanks for asking!

Thanks for asking about Piper and although we have many applications for her MSIR has quite a few dogs up for adoption. Their website is http://www.shibarescue.org/. Please check out their website and dogs up for adoption!
