🚨 FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED ASAP – MEET KONA 🚨
Kona needs us — now.

This beautiful 4-year-old, 19 lb Shiba Inu girl is running out of time at her current home. She’s sweet, affectionate, and full of life, and looking for her right fit family. She is currently residing in Sarasota.

🧡 Why Kona will steal your heart:
Kona is the perfect mix of loving and independent. She adores attention and being close to her person, but also knows how to relax and quietly nap by your side. She’s an active girl who thrives on long walks and would absolutely shine in agility or other fun activities. Best of all — she listens and wants to connect.
She’s fully vetted, spayed, microchipped,, crate trained, and house trained — truly ready to step into a home.

⚠️ Important notes:
Kona does have resource guarding behaviors inside the home, so she must be the only pet. While she can be social with dogs outside, she needs a calm, structured environment where she can feel secure.

💔 What she needs right now:
A committed foster or foster-to-adopt home willing to give her stability, guidance, and love.

✨ This is where you come in.
If you’ve ever thought about fostering — this is the moment it matters most.

Please don’t scroll past her. Share her. Advocate for her. Step up for her.

Kona deserves safety. She deserves a home. She deserves a chance. 🐾❤️

We have had 2 Shiba Inu mixes and now would like to adopt a red full Shiba Inu. We do not have any other pets as our last dog passed 1.5 years ago. I’m very active and walk a lot. Our dogs have always been welcomed to sleep in our bed.
