🐾 Introducing Red – A Shy but Sweet Shiba Looking for His Fresh Start 🐾
From Orlando, we’d like you to meet Red, a 2-year-old, 25 lb Shiba Inu who is being rehomed along with his housemate Sunny. Red is a handsome young boy who just needs a little patience and understanding to truly shine in his new home.
Red is crate trained and leash trained, but he will need some guidance and consistency with house training. There is currently another unfixed male in the home, so some of his behavior may be related to marking rather than a lack of training. Once settled and neutered, this often improves significantly.
Before his adoption is finalized, Red will be brought up to date on his vaccines and neutered, ensuring he’s set up for a healthy future.
Red can be shy when meeting new people, but he warms up fairly quickly once he feels safe. He does well with children, but he is not suitable for a home with cats or other dogs, as he prefers to be the only pet.
To make sure we find the perfect match, Red is available on a foster-to-adopt basis until his vetting is completed and the right home is found. 💛
