Ronin is a loyal companion who thrives in a calm, predictable environment. Like many Shibas, he appreciates having his own space. He does have some resource-guarding behaviors, so he is looking for an experienced family that understands canine body language and positive management techniques.
For Ronin’s success, he should be placed in a home that:
Has no young children
Has no other dogs
Has no cats
Has previous dog experience, preferably with independent breeds such as Shiba Inus

Ronin is currently located in the Tampa, Florida area and is available through Shiba Inu Rescue of Florida on a foster-to-adopt basis. This allows both Ronin and his new family time to ensure they are the perfect fit before finalizing the adoption.
