Marlin is a **7-year-old, 35-lb red Shiba** who is looking for a very special home—and he has a few rules. Because… well… **Shiba.** 😂
Marlin is **extremely affectionate with his humans** and loves attention. In fact, he’d prefer to be your **one and only** because sharing the spotlight is simply not his thing. 😎
✨ **Marlin’s stats:**
🐾 7 years old | ~35 lbs
🐾 Up to date on vaccines & preventatives
🐾 House trained
🐾 Leash trained
🐾 Not crate trained
🐾 Can be left loose in the house without issues
🐾 **No dogs**
🐾 **No children**
🐾 **No cats** — although he hasn’t met one, his personality tells us this probably isn’t going to be his favorite friendship. 😬
🍽️ **One VERY important rule:**
When Marlin is eating, **DO NOT TOUCH THE SHIBA.** 😂
He does **not** resource guard his food—he simply believes dinner is a private event and would like to enjoy it without anyone putting their hands on him. An adopter who understands and respects this boundary is a must.
Marlin currently lives with Mako, but these two gentlemen have decided they would be **much happier living separately**, so they will be adopted individually.
